কুলেখাড়া / Hygrophila auriculata
Hygrophila auriculata (Sanskrit: Kokilaksha कोकिलाक्ष)is a plant in the acanthus family. It is native to India and commonly known as marsh barbel or gokulakanta.
In India, its seeds, roots, and panchang (panch = five ang = parts, i.e. root, flower, stem, fruit, and leaves as ash burnt together) are used as a medication in ayurveda. পুদিনা গাছ
পুদিনা এক প্রকারের গুল্মজাতীয় উদ্ভিদ। এর পাতা সুগন্ধি হিসাবে রান্নায় ব্যবহার করা হয়। অন্যান্য স্থানীয় নামঃ Mint, nana। এর বৈজ্ঞানিক নামঃ Mentha spicata । এটি Lamiaceae পরিবারের অন্তর্গত।
পুদিনা পাতা প্রাচীনকাল থেকেই বেশ জনপ্রিয় ঔষধ হিসেবে পরিচিত। বহু রোগ আরোগ্যে এটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে। পুদিনা পাতা এক ধরনের সুগন্ধি গাছ। এই গাছের পাতা তরি-তরকারির সাথে সুগন্ধি হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়। তবে বেশি ব্যবহার করা হয় নানা ধরনের বড়া তৈরির কাজে।

পেটের পীড়ায় :
এটি ইরেটেবল বাওয়েল সিন্ড্রোম [ আইবিএস ] এবং দীর্ঘস্থায়ী বদহজমের বিরুদ্ধে খুবই কার্যকর। এছাড়াও পুদিনা কোলনের পেশী সংকোচন নিয়ন্ত্রন করে।
অ্যাজমা :
পুদিনায় রোজমেরিক এসিড নামের এক ধরনের উপাদান থাকে। এটি প্রাকপ্রদাহী পদার্থ তৈরীতে বাধা দেয়। ফলে অ্যাজমা হয় না। এছাড়াও এ ঔষধি প্রোস্টসাইক্লিন তৈরীতে বাধা দেয়। তাতে শাসনালী পরিষ্কার থাকে। আরও জানতে ক্লিক করুনঃ- ১) http://www.shobdoneer.com/simanto/45016

ঘৃতকুমারী একটি ভেষজ উদ্ভিদ। ঘৃতকুমারী পাতার রস যকৃতের জন্য উপকারী।বাংলায় নাম তরুণী ঔষধি গাছ হিসারে এর অনেক কদর। তবে বাংলার মানুষ একে ঘৃতকুমারী নামেই বেশী চিনে। এর আর একটি নাম আছে তা হলো কুমারী ।
এর বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম Aloe vera এটি Asphodelaceae (Aloe family) পরিবারের একটি উদ্ভিদ। অন্যান্য নামের মধ্যে Aloe vera, Medicinal aloe, Burn plant Hindi: Gheekumari উল্লেখযোগ্য।
